We begin a 2 month mini series within our Matthew: King Jesus series on the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus will give His disciples a sermon based on His Kingdom. After Jesus speaks of the Beatitudes, He goes into speaking of His followers being Salt and Light. Not that we are trying to be, but we are because of Him! Jesus not only tells us to be Salt and Light, He empower us to do so!
